De Blokhuispoort is a cultural business centre located in the lively centre of Leeuwarden. Where inmates used to be held, the creative minds of about 130 companies now work in an inspiring environment. This historic site also hosts the most diverse cultural events. Also nice is a guided tour of the prison (on Saturday), a visit to an exhibition or a delicious lunch at Café de Bak, located in the second courtyard. All in all a place where there is always something to do.
