Brink
The Brink is the central square in the city centre of Deventer and is surrounded by cozy terraces, a nice biscuit shop and you will find the VVV.
The Brink in Deventer is the monumental and central square in the old town. On the square stands the Wilhelminafontein with the statue of the Deventer town maiden. This statue was placed in memory of the construction of the water pipe in the 19th century. On the other side of the square you can see the statue of Nobel Prize winner Albert Schweitzer. Furthermore, the square is surrounded by cosy restaurants, the nicest biscuit shop of Deventer, the Toy Museum and on weekends you can go to the market.
