After a restoration, things that were previously invisible have become visible again. View the women's balcony and the clock with Hebrew letters.
The synagogue of Zwolle on Samuel Hirschstraat was built at the end of the 19th century. After the restoration in the years 1984-1989, the main hall of the synagogue was almost restored to its original state. As a result, many things that were previously invisible have become visible again: the women's balcony with the characteristic fence around it, the clock with the Hebrew letters, the Hebrew spell on the wall above the holy ark, etc.
