Marie-Jose van der Vegt, Andries van der Veen and son Jamahl Philips are jointly responsible for the business of the hotel. Hospitality is their own. They have been active since 2003 to welcome, pamper and inspire guests from home and abroad. In 2003 they started with B&B 'de Ridder van Zuthem'. This B&B was situated in an old historical monumental building in the old town of Zwolle. At the end of 2016 they stopped this B&B and then with great enthusiasm 'plunged' into the realisation of a new dream in the form of the small hotel 'the Pelsertoren'.
