The Markthal is an icon of Rotterdam. The special shape of the building already appeals to the imagination, but that also applies to the interior. This is where artist Arno Coenen created the largest work of art in the world. The surface of 11,000 m2 is covered in bright colours and is now also known as 'the Sistine Chapel of Rotterdam'. What makes the Markthal so special are the unique entrepreneurs. There are 96 stalls and 20 shops and restaurants. Experience flavors from familiar and new cultures.
