Kronenburgerpark

Stroll through the Kronenburgerpark and see in the middle of the park the 30-metre-high Kronenburg Tower that used to be used as a warehouse for gunpowder. The tower is also known as 'powder tower'. In the park are also St Jacobsmolen, parts of historic city walls and there is a cave and a waterfall. In addition, the park is hilly, which can be seen by the height difference of 14 meters between south and north. From 1880 the park has been transformed into a nice hiking park where it is pleasant to stay during a walk or lying on a blanket in the sun.
