Escape the hustle and bustle of the city and take a nice walk through the Hunnerpark. You will see historical objects, parts of the old city wall and statues.
At the edge of the city centre you will feel like a haven of peace in the Hunnerpark. Between 1876 and 1882, the park was created when the city walls in Nijmegen were demolished. In the park there is a monumental footbridge and one side of the city wall. There are several statues in the park. Among other things, the sculpture group 'The Four Seasons' by Mathurin Moreau can be found. The park is a pleasant place to stroll around, read a book quietly and escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
