Het Dolhuys portrays the human being in all its facets, in particular of people who deviate from the standard in force in the Netherlands, in behavior, thinking and/or emotions, in a positive and negative sense both in the present and past. The museum questions stereotyping in order to contribute to recognition, appreciation and understanding of people. Inspiring, surprising and educational.
