The Rijsterborgherpark is also called “The old plantsoen” in Deventer. The city park is located between the station of Deventer and the city centre. After the park suffered considerable damage in World War II due to allied bombing, it was redesigned and repaired in 1954. In 1985 the city park was enriched with impressive statues and the fountain in the Buitengracht was restored. Nowadays it is a place where a lot of peace can be found and where you can walk around and enjoy nature.
