With an average of sixteen exhibitions a year, the museum almost always shows several exhibitions at the same time. Every year around 200,000 people visit this museum on the Keizersgracht. It is by far the best visited photography museum in the Netherlands with visitor numbers comparable to renowned institutions in cities such as New York, Paris and London.
