Public transport in city center
Metrostation Waterlooplein
This metro stop on the south-west side of the city centre is a stop for metro lines 51, 53 and 54 and a good starting point for a canal walk.

Metro lines 51, 53 and 54 leave from this metro stop at NS Station Amsterdam Centraal to the city centre.
NS Station Amsterdam Centraal
This train station is located on the north side of the city centre. Take the exit at the front and walk through the square to Dam Square in about 10 minutes.
Metrostation Nieuwmarkt
This metro stop is located on metro lines 51, 53 and 54, and De Dam is about a 10-minute walk away. The hiking trail runs through De Wallen.

Parking lot near the Zeeburgertunnel near the A10 motorway with convenient parking spaces. The city centre is easily accessible by express tram.
Parkeergarage Weesperplein
You can park relatively cheap in this not too large parking garage. The metro station is just around the corner. Convenient to travel from here.
