In the Mondriaanhuis you can see exhibitions with works by Mondriaan himself and artists inspired by him.
The Mondriaanhuis is located in the birthplace of Piet Mondriaan (1872-1944). The museum is entirely dedicated to the works of this great painter. Among other things, audiovisual techniques such as video installations are used. The artistic development of Mondriaan passes by and the visitor sees how his work gradually changed from realistic landscapes to luministic scenes to progressive abstract compositions with the lines and surfaces in the primary colours red, yellow and blue. Including the artistic quest that led to the famous Victory Boogie Woogie. Moreover, it becomes clear how jazz music, a great passion of the Mondriaan, had on his work.
Furthermore, you can take a look at Mondrian's full-scale workshop from his period in Paris. The Mondriaanhuis also shows a number of naturalistic works from the painter's early days.
