This unique building was built by order of King Willem II in the years 1847-1849 and contractor Adriaan Goijarts received sixty thousand guilders for the construction. King WILL II died in 1849, 22 days before the completion of the construction. Today, the Paleis-Raadhuis is a popular wedding venue.
