BOOON is located in the old historic district behind CS. Here you can see how beautiful Rotterdam was before the bombing of 1940. The Provenierswijk was largely spared because the fire was under control on the Schiekade. You can also see the lights on the footpath that indicate the fire limit of that time. After the war, the Schiekade was filled with the war pit and completely muffled. In Caffe Booon, the history of the district can be seen on the many black and white photos on the bar, on the wall and on the toilets. The coffee, wine and beers are either from Rotterdam or from Italy, the best of both world's, as they say. The simple but perfect menu is good for breakfast, lunch and drinks. Already open at 7:00!
