Opened in 1929 as a market café and kept in operation by three generations of women. However, when the cattle trade disappeared from the square, the café also closed its doors. Fortunately it was reopened in 2009 under the name Proeflokaal Bakker. Taste the atmosphere of bygone times with the authentic interior and photos of the past. Some drinks are also possible, with the 9 beers on tap, 60 from the bottle and the wide range of jenevers, whiskies and other distillates.
