In the centre of Eindhoven, visit the Neo-Gothic Sint-Catharinakerk. The National Monument is a beautiful landmark.
In the bustling centre of Eindhoven you will find the impressive Sint-Catharinakerk. This Roman Catholic church is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria and is built in a neo-Gothic style. The design was by Pierre Cuypers and the construction started in 1861 and was completed in 1867. During the war the church was badly damaged by bombing but was then restored again. For example, the windows have been replaced by stained glass windows. Since 1972, the church is a National Monument and a beautiful landmark during a day trip to Eindhoven.
