The Augustijnenkerk, also called the Heilig-Hartkerk or Paterskerk, is located in the centre of Eindhoven and was built at the end of the nineteenth century for the Augustinian priests of the adjacent monastery. The church is a national monument and still owned by the Fathers. The church has a beautiful appearance and is shrouded in a neo-Gothic style. The 66 metre high tower with the Holy Heart Statue, the masonry and the various chapels and confessionals make the church a special attraction.
