This beautiful town hall of Dordrecht built in Renaissance style and located on the town hall square is nowadays used for events.
From 1383 onwards, the original building was used by Flemish merchants as a market hall for the trade in fabrics. Since 1544, it has been given its function as city hall. After the relocation of the city council to the town office on the Spuiboulevard, the beautiful building is now used for events and wedding ceremonies.
