The Arthouse B&B is located in the historic centre of Dordrecht and built on the remains of the old city wall. It is part of a new (in 2016) under architecture built house and located on the ground floor.

It is ideally located for visiting the many sights of Dordrecht or as a base for visiting surrounding sights such as Kinderdijk or the Biesbosch. Rotterdam is also easily accessible by the nearby train station.

The name Arthouse is based on the fact that it is centrally located between the most important museums of Dordrecht, (Dordrechts Museum, Hof van Holland) the Dordtse Schouwburg (Kunstmin) Arthouse Cinema (The Movies) and of course the important contribution of Dordrecht artist Rein Dool to the design of the dwelling. (which can be found in the bronze front door, the forging on the windows and the various artworks of him in the Arthouse.
