During a visit to Escher in Het Paleis you can see the beautiful, imaginative performances of artist M.C. Escher. The works of art hang in the former winter palace of Koningin-Emma. Here you can still experience the old atmosphere of the palace. A highlight in Escher's work is the 7-metre-long Metamorphosis III. This special arrangement and huge woodcut is pleasing to the eye. Escher knows how to marvel young and old by his imaginative constructions that in reality cannot be built. They form a game of different perspectives and optical deceit.
