Park Sonsbeek is 67 hectares and has a hilly character. In the park you will find the Nederlands Watermuseum, De Witte Watermolen, Huis Sonsbeek, also called De Witte Villa, the Tea House De Palatine and the restaurants De Boerderij and the Sonsbeek Pavilion. In the eastern part of the park every summer from the end of May to the end of August, Park Open is organized on Sunday afternoons, a series of free cultural festivals featuring theatre, music and dance. In August, the series ends with a four-day festival: the Sonsbeek Theater Avenue. Between Stadsvilla Sonsbeek and the deer camp, the Sonsbeekmarkt is organized every first Sunday of the month, with an extra Christmas market in December. It is a market with an emphasis on local culinary products.
